David Wells

David Wells has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David began their career in 1996 as the General Manager of Foothills Broadcasting Inc., where they managed various radio stations and was responsible for business operations, fundraising, and community relations. Afterward, in 2000, they moved on to become the Worship Coordinator at Middlesettlements United Methodist Church, Inc. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Vice President Administration at Emerald Youth Foundation, where they work closely with various departments such as Facilities, Technology, Data Infrastructure, and Business Services. Most recently, in 2022, they became a County Commissioner for Blount County.

David Wells attended William Blount High School from 1986 to 1990. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, graduating in 1994.
