Tom Sammons

Tom Sammons is a Senior Android Engineer at Emerge since November 2023. Prior to this role, Tom served as a Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager at Trade Republic from May 2019 to September 2022, where responsibilities evolved alongside the company’s growth from 28 to approximately 600 employees. Previous experience includes positions as Lead Android Engineer and Senior Android Engineer at Novoda (September 2017 - April 2019), Android Developer at Jaspr (November 2016 - June 2017), and Mobile Developer at Roam Creative Ltd (May 2013 - April 2016). Additionally, Tom co-founded BoredCast, developing an application for organizing meet-ups. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Auckland (2012 - 2014) and completed high school at Auckland Grammar School (2007 - 2011).
