Professor Wendy Alexander is an accomplished academic and leader in international education, currently serving on the UK Advisory Board for ApplyBoard and as a Board Trustee for the British Council. With extensive experience, Professor Alexander is a Venture Partner at Emerge Education and chairs the International Education Advisory Board for Times Higher Education. Additional roles include membership on the Investment Advisory Board at Scottish Equity Partners and the Education Sector Advisory Group for the Department for International Trade. As an International Trade Envoy for the Scottish Government, Professor Alexander enhances global reach and collaborations in education. A Patron of Social Investment Scotland, Professor Alexander has played a pivotal role in supporting social enterprise investment. As Vice-Principal for International at the University of Dundee, strategic leadership has led to significant growth in international fee income. Professor Alexander's educational background includes an MBA from INSEAD, a Master's degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Warwick, and a MA (Hons) in Economic and Modern History from the University of Glasgow.
