EMERGE
Angel Campos is a self-employed barber at acc.cutz, actively providing haircuts on the campus of Bentley University since April 2023. In addition to barbershop work, Angel serves as an EMERGE Scholar, participating in a program designed to prepare underrepresented high-performing students for success in selective colleges and universities. Experience in landscaping has been gained at Sanchez Tree Services & Landscaping since July 2019, where Angel follows landscape designs and maintains equipment. Previously, Angel worked as a sales employee at TOPDOG Fireworks and TOPDOG Halloween, responsible for organizing and transporting products. Angel is currently pursuing a degree at Bentley University, having graduated from Northbrook High School in May 2023.

EMERGE
High-achieving students from low-income backgrounds often face significant barriers when it comes to accessing the nation’s top colleges. EMERGE partners with local school districts to help these students ignite their potential and gain access to top colleges that offer generous financial aid. EMERGE students graduate at eight times the national average for students in their demographic, frequently with minimal debt. Even more, they learn to maximize their unique strengths and talents and embrace their identities to become influential leaders in their own lives and communities.
