Katja Fort Rhoden

Katja Fort Rhoden currently serves as a member of the Howard County Democratic Central Committee and the Board of Directors for Emerge Maryland, an organization dedicated to empowering Democratic women candidates. With a focus on ethical considerations in organ procurement and transplantation, Katja is also a member of the Lung Transplantation Committee for the United Network for Organ Sharing and the Ethics Committee for Infinite Legacy. Additionally, Katja holds a position on the Board of Directors for Donate Life Maryland and volunteers as a Donate Life Ambassador with the Washington Regional Transplant Community. Previous experience includes board membership with the Maryland State Rehabilitation Council and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia, along with a role as Chair of Community Outreach at the Therapeutic & Recreational Riding Center. Katja Fort Rhoden's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland University College.
