Emergency Medical Services Lab Instructor at Emergency Care Programs

Arelis Nieves, EMT, RMA, has extensive experience in emergency medical services and healthcare education. Currently serving as an Emergency Medical Technician with the New York City Fire Department since October 2018, Arelis also functions as an EMS Lab Instructor for Emergency Care Programs since March 2016. Additional roles include being a volunteer for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and serving as an EMT with Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance from 2015 to 2019. Previous EMT positions with Mount Sinai West and SeniorCareEMS, along with patient access responsibilities at CarePoint Health System, further highlight Arelis's comprehensive background in patient care. Arelis holds an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from LaGuardia Community College and an Associate of Science in Medical/Clinical Assisting from Mandl The College of Allied Health.
