Emergency Medicine Residents' Association (EMRA)
Kristina Pagano is an MD candidate at Florida International University - Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, expected to graduate in May 2025, specializing in Emergency Medicine. With extensive involvement in leadership and advocacy, Kristina serves as a Leadership Academy Member and Southeast Regional Coordinator for the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association (EMRA) since February 2023. Previous roles include President of both the AMSA Interest Group and the Emergency Medicine Interest Group at Florida International University from July 2021 to March 2023. Kristina actively contributes to the Miami-Dade division of RESULTS, advocating against poverty and world hunger, and has experience as a Clinical Research Assistant in the Emergency Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Prior to these positions, Kristina served as an Emergency Medical Technician at McCormick Ambulance Company from August 2019 to August 2021. Kristina holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology with a Minor in Global Health from UCLA, completed in December 2019.
