Ciona Forsythe

Ciona Forsythe has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and validation in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Ciona has worked as a Senior CQV Lead Manager/Quality at Emergent BioSolutions since 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Validation Engineer at ProPharma Group from February 2014. Ciona also worked as a CQV Consultant at PharmEng Technology starting in January 2012. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Senior QA Lead at Regeneron. Ciona also worked as a Validation Specialist at Cytovance Biologics from August 2015 to April 2016 and as a QA Validation Engineer at Merck in 2015. Ciona held the role of QA Validation Specialist at Pfizer from 2014 to 2015 and Cleaning Validation Specialist at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2012 to 2014. Ciona began their career as a Production Technician at LifeCell Corporation from October 2009 to July 2010.

Ciona Forsythe holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Anthropological Human Biology and Criminal Justice from Temple University, earned between 2003 and 2007. Ciona also completed a Master of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2021 to 2022.
