Laima Bashir

Laima Bashir has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Laima began their career at AOL in 2005, where they held roles as Senior Manager of Access Finance and later as Director of International Finance. In 2008, they joined MedImmune, the biologics division of AstraZeneca, serving as Associate Director of Global Synagis Commercial and later as Director of the Commercial Infectious Disease Franchise. In 2013, they transitioned to Rosetta Stone as Senior Director of Global Consumer Finance. Afterwards, they joined Amtrak in various positions, including Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Vice President of Operations Finance & Capital Planning. Their most recent role is as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Emergent BioSolutions, where they started in December 2020.
