Lauren Queen

Lauren Queen is an experienced professional in product development and quality governance, currently serving as Director and Product Development Team Lead at Emergent BioSolutions since April 2018. In this role, Lauren provides scientific strategy and oversight for vaccine and therapeutic product development programs while managing budgets, resources, and risks. Prior to Emergent BioSolutions, Lauren held various leadership positions at PPD from 2005 to 2017, including Associate Director roles in Quality Governance and Global Strategic Proposal Development, where responsibilities included risk management, assessing oncology proposals, and overseeing high-value clinical development proposals. Lauren holds a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, an MPH from The George Washington University, and a BS in Biology from the University of Maryland.
