Veer Vithalani

Veer Vithalani is an experienced physician currently serving as the Assistant Medical Director for Emergency Medical Services in the County of San Diego since May 2024, focusing on the implementation of the Base Station Hospital & Trauma Catchment Review. Vithalani has held various roles including Base Hospital Medical Director and Emergency Physician at Palomar Health since June 2022, and Chief Medical Officer at MedStar Mobile Healthcare from July 2015 to January 2023, where oversight was provided to the MAEMSA system. Additional experience includes roles as Interim Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, and System Medical Director in various emergency medical settings. Vithalani's educational background includes an MD from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Medical Science from the University of St Andrews.
