Emergent Method
Nikki Godfrey, Ph.D., currently serves as the Managing Director at Emergent Method, where responsibilities include leading client engagements and focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. In addition, Nikki is an Adjunct Instructor at Louisiana State University, teaching master's and doctoral students. Previously, Nikki held the position of Assistant Commissioner for Public Affairs at the Louisiana Board of Regents and served in various roles at Louisiana State University, including Director of Promotions and Event Management. Nikki has extensive experience in event management and public relations from a decade-long tenure at ESPN, culminating in the role of Executive Director overseeing major NCAA sporting events. Academically, Nikki holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Louisiana State University, a Master's in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor's in Mass Communication from Southern University.
