Kipp Nelson

Kipp Nelson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in disaster management and consulting. As the Owner and Managing Director of Emergent Risk Solutions since January 2013, Kipp has leveraged a wealth of expertise gained from previous roles, including Director of Disaster Management Services at CB&I in 2016, Senior Project Manager at BLD Services, LLC in 2012, and Independent Consultant from 2003 to 2013. Kipp began a career in project management at Insituform Technologies, Inc. and held multiple positions in various locations, culminating in a significant tenure at Jacobs as a Cost Analyst. Kipp holds a Juris Doctor degree from LSU Law and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Louisiana State University.
