Marek Sotola

Marek Sotola has worked as a Software Engineer at Emergent Space Technologies, Inc. since 2011. In this role, they developed and upgraded tooling for various environments, wrote tests for software reconfiguration capabilities, developed ground tools for displaying downlinked images, and performed mission operations. Marek also worked at BioServe Space Technologies as a Software Developer from 2004 to 2010. In this position, they wrote and maintained a GUI for viewing and plotting real-time and historical data, developed a GUI for audio stream endpoints, and designed a GUI for displaying patient status from accelerometers.

Marek Sotola attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2004 to 2010, where they received a MS/BS degree in Aerospace Engineering. Additionally, from 2004 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the same institution.
