Ruben Lubowski

Ruben Lubowski serves as the Chief Carbon and Environmental Markets Strategist at Lombard Odier Investment Managers since April 2022 and is a Senior Advisor and Co-Founder of the Emergent Forest Finance Accelerator since July 2019. In addition to these roles, Ruben Lubowski has been an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University since January 2013 and previously served in the same capacity at NYU Stern School of Business in early 2018. Prior experience includes the role of Chief Natural Resource Economist and AVP for Climate & Forests at the Environmental Defense Fund from January 2008 to April 2022, and an Economist at the USDA Economic Research Service from September 2002 to December 2007. Earlier career positions include Project Leader at the Harvard Institute for International Development from 1993 to 1994 and Environmental Project Officer at UNDP from 1992 to 1993. Ruben Lubowski holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Economy and Government from Harvard University.
