Byron Snider

Byron Snider is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT leadership, business ownership, and board advisory roles. Currently serving as the VP of IT at Scheels since September 2005, Byron leads a team dedicated to impactful business solutions. Previously held roles include Assistant Store Leader at multiple Scheels locations and Tax Associate at Eide Bailly LLP, specializing in real estate partnership tax returns. As an entrepreneur, Byron owns Yourtack.com, an American-made leather belt manufacturer, and Sweet Carolina K, an e-commerce site for fashionable lanyards. Byron is also active in the community, serving as Board Chair for Emerging Prairie and having previously held the position of Advisory Board Chair for the Emerging Digital Academy. Byron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business from North Dakota State University.
