Felipe Castro Quiles

Felipe Castro Quiles has a diverse range of work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and technology. Felipe is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Emerging Rule, where they apply artificial intelligence to improve K-12 education. Felipe is also the CEO of GENIA Latinoamérica, a public benefit corporation that focuses on connecting Latin America to artificial intelligence research and development. Felipe is the Visionary Founder of HUBVERY and a Fellow at Singularity University. Felipe serves as an Artificial Intelligence Executive Advisory Board member at Forbes and an Advisor on the AI/ML Advisory Board at DevNetwork. Felipe is also involved in various committees and initiatives, including the Planet Positive 2030 initiative supported by IEEE and the Virtual Educa Connect board of advisors.

Felipe Castro Quiles holds a diverse education history. Felipe completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on International Commerce at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón from 2005 to 2008. Felipe then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Marketing from the same institution from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, during this period, they completed an International Master in Business Administration (iMBA) program in International Business at Foro Europeo from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their academic degrees, Felipe has obtained various certifications and completed specialized programs. Their certifications include Edtech Industry Insider, obtained in May 2021; Smart Cities - Management of Smart Urban Infrastructures from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in February 2021; Blockchain Revolution Specialization from INSEAD in January 2021; and Venture Deals Summer 2020 from NovoEd in August 2020.

Furthermore, Felipe has completed several specialized programs, including the 100-Day Global Virtual Accelerator Program from Hyper Accelerator in December 2020; the Inception Program for Startups from NVIDIA in June 2019; the Ventures Incubator at NASA Ames Research Center from Singularity University in September 2018; and the Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai in February 2018.

Felipe also has certificates in Machine Learning from Stanford University in December 2017; From Poverty to Prosperity: Understanding Economic Development from the University of Oxford in April 2017; Virtual Teacher Specialization from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education in April 2017; The Changing Global Order from Leiden University in March 2017; Global Diplomacy - Diplomacy in the Modern World from SOAS University of London in February 2017; and What future for education? from the University of London in October 2016.

Additionally, Felipe holds certifications in Social Entrepreneurship from Copenhagen Business School in July 2015; Managing the Company of the Future from the University of London in March 2015; and Change Management Specialist (CMS) and Six Sigma Lean Professional (SSLP) from the Management and Strategy Institute in July 2014.

Recently, Felipe obtained two certifications from the CITI Program: Group 1: Social, Behavioral, and Educational Researchers in February 2023 and Group 2: Clinical Researchers in February 2023.
