Mina Akhavan

Mina Akhavan is an accomplished professional in public health with extensive experience in project management and evaluation. Currently serving as a Project Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant at Emerging Sun, LLC since October 2020, Mina has managed over 60 funded research projects and maintained a projects database. Prior experience includes an Evaluation Specialist role at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where Mina coordinated project activities and developed evaluation strategies. At the National Institutes of Health, Mina held the position of Senior Data and Evaluation Analyst, designing evaluations and managing large datasets. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland.
