Martin Lima has a diverse work experience in the venture capital industry. Martin is currently working as a Principal in Residence at MVP Ventures since December 2023. Martin is also pursuing an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business since August 2023. Martin has previously worked as a Venture Fellow at Berkeley SkyDeck from October 2023. Additionally, they are the Co-Founder and Board Member of Emerging Venture Capital Fellows, the largest community for pre-partner VCs in LATAM, since February 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at Indicator Capital, including Venture Capital Principal from June 2021 to June 2023, Associate from March 2019 to June 2021, and Analyst from March 2017 to March 2019. Martin has also served as a Board Observer at Beegol from January 2022 to May 2023, CTA Smart from October 2021 to May 2023, iugu from June 2021 to May 2023, Worldpackers from July 2018 to May 2023, and Monuv from June 2021 to June 2022.
Martin Lima earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2025. Martin previously obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP in 2016. Martin also studied Engenharia de Obras Públicas at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2015-2016. In 2017, they completed a Business Training Program in Finance at the Business Training Company.
