Oscar Patricio

Oscar Patricio has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Oscar currently works as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Emergn, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Devoteam, starting as an IT Consultant in October 2018 and later becoming an Azure Tech Lead at MCloud and Cloud&DevOps Team in February 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior System Network Administrator at GrupoPIE Portugal from February 2017 to October 2018. Oscar also has experience as a Systems Engineer at Coriant GmbH & Co. KG (ex-Nokia Siemens Networks Optical Networks Division) from January 2011 to January 2017, and as a Systems Engineer/Developer at iPortalMais from January 2005 to December 2010. Oscar started their career as a Linux Systems/Network Administrator at FEUP in September 2002 and worked there until December 2004.

Oscar Patricio completed their graduation in Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering from the Engineering Faculty of the University of Porto in the years 1997 to 2002. Oscar then pursued a post-graduation degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the same institution in 2003 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained certifications including "OpenHack: Containers" from Microsoft OpenHack, "Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft, and "LFS258: Kubernetes Fundamentals" from The Linux Foundation in recent years.
