Kevin Dupzyk is the senior editor at Emerson Collective. Kevin has previously worked as a freelance writer, senior associate editor at Popular Mechanics, and launch editor of the monthly inventor-focused interview column "My Patent Story." Kevin is known for their ability to find the angle in every story that makes it real in the lives of readers. Kevin has interviewed many noteworthy figures including musician Jack White, technology and culinary pioneer Kimbal Musk, How We Got to Now author Steven Johnson, and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. Kevin has also conceived of, planned, and edited large-scale editorial packages that meld cutting-edge reporting, service journalism, and literary digressions. In addition to their writing and editing skills, Kevin is also experienced in collaborating with art and photography teams to layout and hone the design of stories. Kevin is known for their excellent management skills, overseeing writers’ contracts, deadlines, invoicing, and travel.

Kevin Dupzyk received their Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Montana and their BS in Economics and Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
