Brian Garthwaite has a diverse work experience in marketing and branding roles. Brian started their career as a Senior Graphic Designer at BNY Mellon in 2005 and later worked as a Marketing Manager at American Home Mortgage in 2007. Brian then joined IndyMac Bank as a Marketing Manager and was responsible for developing and maintaining the IndyMac brand through various print and electronic materials. In 2008, Brian worked as a Design Contractor at Ernst & Young, where they designed marketing collateral within strict branding guidelines. Currently, Brian is the Creative Director at Emerson Reid, where they facilitate creative and brand positioning, manages company-wide branding initiatives, and develops marketing collateral for multiple brands.
Brian Garthwaite began their education in 1998 at Katherine Gibbs, where they pursued an Associate in Applied Science degree in Graphic Design. Brian completed their studies in 2001. Continuing their passion for the field, Brian attended Briarcliffe College from 2005 to 2008, earning a BFA in Graphic Design.
