Michael Hanney

Michael Hanney began their work experience in 1992 at UnitedHealth Group, where they served as a Sr. Account Executive until 1997. Michael then founded their own company, JFH Consulting, Inc., in 1997, where they held the position of Owner and President until 2006. In that same year, Hanney joined Emerson Reid as EVP of My Benefit Advisor LLC, later becoming a Market Leader for the West Region. Michael continues to work at Emerson Reid in this role.

Michael Hanney obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Operations from Ithaca College, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Michael then pursued further education and earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Adelphi University, graduating in 1996. Additionally, they hold a certification in GBDS from the National Underwriter institution, although the exact year and month of attainment are unknown.
