Anat Canning is a geoscience technology leader currently serving as a Distinguished Technologist at Emerson, where they consult on integrating AI technologies for automated seismic processing and interpretation. With extensive experience in seismic imaging, inversion, and machine learning, Anat previously held roles as R&D Director at Emerson and PARADIGM GEOPHYSICAL BV, leading global R&D teams to develop innovative software products. Anat began their career as a Research Geo-Scientist at HARC and later consulted on sound wave imaging technologies for startups. They are currently pursuing a BSc in Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, alongside a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Rice University and an MSc in Geophysics from Tel Aviv University.
