Catriona Murray

Catriona Murray serves as the Vice President and General Counsel for the Middle East and Africa at Emerson, having progressed through various legal roles within the company since October 2010, including Senior Associate General Counsel and Associate General Counsel. Prior to Emerson, Catriona worked at Hugh Fraser International as a Senior Legal Consultant, focusing on international oil and gas law from the Dubai office, where skills in project management and practical commercial advice were honed. Catriona began a legal career at Semple Fraser LLP, finishing a two-year Corporate “Specialist” Traineeship and qualifying as a solicitor. Academically, Catriona holds an LLB in Law and a DLP in Law from the University of Aberdeen, as well as completing an EPSO in Strategy and Organisation from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2022.
