Jim Logerquist

Jim Logerquist is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Emerson Automation Solutions since April 2008, Jim specializes in developing and designing field device communications software and interfaces for Process Control Systems, with recent projects focused on handheld computing environments. Prior to this, Jim operated as a software consultant at Logerquist and Assoc. Inc. from 1995 to 2008, managing a diverse range of software engineering projects for multiple clients. Previous positions include Software Project Manager at FDC, Sr. Network Planner at US Bank, and Sr. Programmer Analyst at Fourth Shift Corporation. Jim holds a BA in Business, Economics, and Computer Science from St. Cloud State University, along with an AA in Marketing and Information Technology from Century College, and has additional training from the Control Data Institute.
