Michael Ekness

Michael Ekness has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Michael started their career as a Medicare Accounts Receivable Coordinator at Horizon Healthcare Corporation in 1993. Michael then moved up within the company, working as a Medicare Accounts Receivable Specialist, Assistant Manager of Medicare Accounts Receivable, and finally as a Reimbursement Analyst. In 1998, they joined Peak Medical Corporation as a Senior Reimbursement Analyst and later became the Director of Reimbursement. In 2005, Michael joined Sun Healthcare Group as the Director of Reimbursement. Michael held this position until 2013 when they joined Emerus Holdings, Inc. as the Director of Government Programs and Managed Care Reimbursement. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Managed Care.

Michael Ekness received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Puget Sound.
