Robert Gillis

Robert Gillis serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Operations at Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. since August 2018. Prior to this, Robert held various positions at Ames Construction from June 1999 to May 2018, including Senior Vice President & Regional Manager and Vice President of Engineering. Robert's career in construction began at Recovery 1 as a Foreman and Heavy Equipment Operator from May 1997 to June 1999. Robert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, attended from 1999 to 2002, and previously studied at Tacoma Community College from 1997 to 1999.
