Savanah joined the EMI Advisors team as a Project Analyst in 2021. She specializes in projects relating to social determinants of health and health information technology.
Savanah graduated with a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology from Towson University in 2015. She continued her education by completing her MPH at the University of Florida in 2019. While in graduate school, Savanah focused her research towards Social and Behavioral Science, emphasizing qualitative analysis of programs supporting whole-person health and primary intervention through community programming.
Before starting at EMI, Savanah spent six years working directly with patients in clinical settings. She also volunteered her time as the Digital Media Coordinator at a local non-profit specializing in providing medical treatment to the uninsured. These experiences gave Savanah a grassroots perspective to multiple public health challenges and continue to drive her work today.
Savanah enjoys hiking and paddle boarding with her husband, Alex, during her free time, and spending time with her two cats.
