Sofía Victoria Cortés

Sofía Victoria Cortés has four years of professional experience in software engineering. In 2017, they began their career as a Software Engineer at Etermax, a mobile game development company, where they learned about Agile Methodologies and Extreme Programming (XP) practices. That same year, they also began working as a Teacher Assistant at Systems Design at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. In 2019, they joined Mercado Libre as a Software Engineer, where they were a member of Cloud & Platform and participated in two projects. In 2020, they joined Emi Labs as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained services while improving the quality of infrastructure and code. Sofía Victoria also took on the role of Staff Software Engineer (Technical Leader), leading projects from a technical perspective.

Sofía Victoria Cortés obtained their Information Systems Engineer degree from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in 2019, after studying Information Systems Engineering from 2014-2019. Sofía Victoria also holds a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge, obtained in December of 2012.
