Uwe Schillhorn, CFA, serves as Program Director at Emerging Markets Investors Alliance (EMIA). Previously, Uwe held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Cook County Pension Fund and at Principal Financial Group, where responsibilities included overseeing international investment strategies. Uwe also contributed as a Member of the Board of Directors at AFP Cuprum and was Head of Emerging Markets Fixed Income and Global Bond Portfolio Manager at UBS. Uwe Schillhorn earned a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Freiburg, Germany, between 1988 and 1993, and attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, from 1990 to 1991.
