Edgar Giovanni Leal Cárdenas

Edgar Giovanni Leal Cárdenas has extensive work experience in software development and technology leadership roles.

From September 2022 to the present, Edgar is working as a Senior Developer Full Stack at Emida. In this role, they are responsible for developing customized software systems and applications for high-performance transactional platforms. Edgar Giovanni also sets technical standards, selects appropriate technologies, and integrates different platforms, enabling the creation of new functionalities.

Prior to their current position, Edgar worked at tns from January 2013 to December 2021. Initially, as a Developer, they provided support for the implementation of the Risk Calculation and Prevention System for Colombia's largest oil pipeline. Edgar Giovanni also contributed to the creation of the company's new ERP tool architecture. Later, Edgar was promoted to the role of Research Lead, where they defined technology architectures, established coding best practices, and presented proofs of concept to management. Edgar Giovanni also managed technical support for a previously developed system, which included interacting with executive meetings and client management.

Edgar Giovanni Leal Cárdenas completed their undergraduate education from 2010 to 2015 at Universidad de Los Andes, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería with a field of study in Sistemas y computación.

In addition to their educational background, Edgar obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2022.
