Doug Difalco

Doug DiFalco has over 35 years of experience in various tax-related roles. Doug began their career as a Tax Accountant at Cadence Industries Corporation, preparing federal tax returns and state and local tax returns. Doug then worked at Manufacturers Hanover Leasing Corporation, where they continued to prepare tax returns and maintained depreciation schedules.

At The Bank of New York, they served as an Assistant Treasurer, taking charge of tax filings and preparing federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns. Doug then joined HSBC Bank USA as a Vice President, creating a Forecast Model to calculate tax liabilities for the bank and its subsidiaries.

Afterwards, they joined The Bank of New York Mellon as a Vice President, where they managed a compliance staff, reviewed tax returns, and prepared federal tax returns and related schedules. Doug is currently working as a Vice President at Emigrant Bank, specializing in tax.

Doug DiFalco received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Rutgers University from 1979 to 1983. Doug then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Pace University - Lubin School of Business from 1984 to 1989.
