Pawel Jan Gornowicz

Pawel Jan Gornowicz has a strong background in engineering and has worked in various roles throughout their career. In 2013, they joined Eni Saipem as an Assistant Technical Section Leader/1st Engineer, where they supervised the Technical Department and participated in rig acceptance inspections and audits. Pawel Jan also served as an Engine Room Operator, responsible for monitoring and maintaining machinery on the drilling rig. Prior to that, they worked at Teekay Corporation as a 2nd Engineer and 3rd Engineer on Shuttle Tankers, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the vessels' power plants and auxiliary equipment. Pawel Jan also gained experience as a 4th Engineer at Iona Shipping, working on a Bulk Carrier. Most recently, Gornowicz held the position of Chief Engineer at ENOC.

Pawel Jan Gornowicz obtained a Master of Science in Marine Engineering from Gdynia Maritime University, specializing in Ship Propulsion Plant Engineering, from 2001 to 2006. Pawel Jan also holds several additional certifications, including DP Maintenance from The Nautical Institute, and an Advanced Fire Fighting Certificate from Maritime Office Gdynia. Pawel Jan has obtained various other certificates in areas such as safety training, security duties, engine resource management, and high voltage management. Some of these certifications were obtained from institutions such as FMTC Safety, Maritime Office Gdynia, STC-KNRM Offshore-Safety, Adria Libar Maritime & Yacht training centre, and Seagull Maritime. Pawel also possesses a Chief Engineer Unlimited (3000KW and more) License from Maritime Office Gdynia.
