Sami Hammoud

Sami Hammoud currently serves as the Head of Corporate Coverage - Commodities at Emirates NBD since October 2015, overseeing the bank's Commodity vertical and developing its global trading strategy. Responsibilities include managing a team of relationship managers and analysts, implementing risk management frameworks, and fostering a culture of performance. Prior to this role, Sami held various positions within Emirates NBD, including Head of Corporate Coverage for MNC & Retailers, Head of Transaction Banking Sales, and Associate Vice President in Corporate Banking. Previously, Sami gained experience as Director of Corporate and Institutional Clients at Standard Chartered Bank and as an Auditor at Deloitte. Sami began a career in finance with a summer trainee position at BankMed. Sami holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the American University of Beirut, earned between 2004 and 2007.
