Aref AlHammadi is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Financial Planning Director at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, a position held since March 2016. ENEC is part of ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies with a broad portfolio of major enterprises spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s diversified economy. تأسست مؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية بموجب المرسوم الصادر في ديسمبر 2009 عن صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. وتتولّى المؤسسة تمثيل كافة جوانب البرنامج النووي السلمي الإماراتي. تعمل المؤسسة على توفير الطاقة الكهربائية الآمنة والموثوقة والصديقة للبيئة السلمية ضمن شبكة الكهرباء الرئيسية في الدولة من خلال محطة براكة للطاقة النووية، بما يدعم النمو الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، ويساهم في الحد من الانبعاثات الكربونية لمواجهة ظاهرة التغير المناخي. مؤسسة الإمارات للطاقة النووية هي شركة تابعة لـ"أبوظبي القابضة" (ADQ)، التي تعد واحدة من أكبر الشركات القابضة على مستوى المنطقة، والتي تمتلك محفظة واسعة من المؤسسات الكبرى العاملة في قطاعات رئيسية ضمن اقتصاد إمارة أبوظبي المتنوع.
