Dr.walid Hussein

Dr. Walid Hussein is a seasoned professional in zoological management, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Emirates Park Zoo and Resort since October 2015, following roles as Zoo Director and Zoo Operations Manager. Prior to this, Dr. Hussein held the position of Safari Operations Manager at Family Park from October 2012 to October 2015 and managed the Aquarium Grotto Garden from April 2012 to September 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as Animal Collections Regional Manager at Giza Zoological Garden from July 2008 to August 2012 and as Zoo Veterinarian and Collections Manager at Little Jungle Zoo from June 2005 to May 2008. Initial veterinary experience was gained at Giza Zoological Garden from August 2004 to August 2005. Dr. Hussein holds a diploma in Artificial Insemination and Wild Animals Field Studies from Cairo University and studied at Sparsholt College Hampshire, further enhancing expertise in animal care and conservation management.
