Wasim Halani

Wasim Halani is a seasoned information security leader with approximately 14 years of extensive experience in both offensive and defensive domains of cybersecurity. They currently serve as the Principal Architect - SOC at Emirates, where they head the Detection Engineering unit responsible for threat detections on the Securonix platform. Previously, Wasim held the position of VP – Innovation and Research at Network Intelligence, focusing on the development of new service offerings and enhancing existing capabilities. They have also contributed as a Security Trainer at the Institute of Information Security and held various roles at Network Intelligence, where they managed numerous cybersecurity consulting assignments. Wasim is a strong proponent of automation, striving to create efficient automated processes in every role undertaken.
