Matteo Casalta

Matteo Casalta is an experienced welding quality engineer with a robust background in materials engineering. Currently serving as an Ingénieur qualité soudage IWE at EMIS Groupe Ponticelli Freres since November 2021, Matteo oversees non-destructive testing and quality control of welded metallic piping, ensuring compliance with construction codes and client requirements. Previous roles include a research and development internship at MECAPROTEC INDUSTRIES, focusing on optimizing electrolyte nickel deposition processes, and an assistant researcher position at Universidade Federal de São Carlos, where Matteo characterized amorphous metals for 3D printing applications.
