Christina Wu, CPA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Manager at Emissions Reduction Alberta since June 2021. Prior to this role, Christina worked as a Senior Accountant at The Canadian Brewhouse and Deloitte, where responsibilities included assessing IFRS application, evaluating internal controls, and analyzing client budgets and forecasts. Earlier experience includes positions as a Sales Associate at ANN INC, Course Manager for Accounting 311 at the University of Alberta, and Internal Auditor during a co-op term at Canadian Western Bank. Christina holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Alberta and completed CPA designation through CPA Canada between 2018 and 2020.

Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA)
ERA receives grants from government to fulfil our mandate. This funding comes from Alberta’s large emitters who choose to pay into the Climate Change and Emissions Management Fund as a compliance option if they are unable to meet emissions reduction targets. For a decade and a half, our clean technology investments have helped innovators develop and demonstrate Alberta-based technologies that reduce emissions, lower costs, attract investment, and create jobs in Alberta.
