Vikaas M Sachdeva

Vikaas joined Emkay Investment Managers Ltd (EIML) as its CEO in 2019.

An industry veteran, Vikaas has over two decades of diverse and rich experience. In his last assignment as the Global CEO of Enam Asset Management Ltd., he led a series of strategic imperatives across the company to deliver growth, both locally and globally. Prior to Enam, he was the CEO of Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd., where he successfully turned around the business, eventually leading to the acquisition of JP Morgan’s India Mutual fund business.

He has also worked with companies like Birla Sun Life International AMC Ltd., ING Investment Management (India) Ltd and Bharti AXA IM (India) Ltd which involved working extensively with teams across risk, operations, compliance and investor servicing, while directly overseeing sales and distribution, marketing and product development.

Vikaas was on the Board of SEBI’s Mutual Fund Advisory Committee (MFAC), which was instrumental in launching several initiatives for the growth of the Asset Management industry. He also served as a Director on the Board of the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) for over half a decade and had led the Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) committee.

At Emkay, Vikaas spearheads the Investment Management business and by virtue of his experience and acumen in the BFSI domain, endeavours to build a customer-centric organization taking care of the investment management requirements of savvy investors.
