Thomas Gauthier

Thomas Gauthier is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in higher education and research. Currently serving as the academic director of the Executive MBA program at emlyon business school since September 2020, Thomas also holds several key roles, including the Chair of Carbone 4's "Stratégie en Anthropocène" and Associate Dean for pedagogy in Anthropocene studies. Additionally, Thomas has been an Associate Fellow at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy since May 2020 and previously held a position as an Associate Professor at HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale from 2013 to 2020. Thomas's academic contributions include a visiting scholar appointment at the University of Oxford's Said Business School and teaching roles at Sciences Po. Prior to entering academia, Thomas worked in various capacities at Philips Healthcare, including Senior Research Scientist and Clinical Research Director. Thomas holds a PhD in Medicine from Imperial College London, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Physics from ESPCI Paris - PSL.
