Katie Ward

Katie Ward is an experienced environmental scientist currently serving as an Associate Environmental Scientist at EMM Consulting Pty Limited since November 2020. Previously, Katie held the position of Senior Environmental Scientist and Associate at GHD for over twelve years, leading significant environmental impact assessments and management plans for clients such as Hunter Water and TfNSW. Key projects included the Scone Bypass and Newell Highway, among others. Earlier in the career, Katie managed offshore ecological surveys and contributed to environmental monitoring and management for the petroleum industry. Additionally, experience includes voluntary work at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, focusing on horticulture and conservation. Katie holds a BSc in Biology from Cardiff University and A Level qualifications in English, Maths, Biology, and Chemistry from Welshpool High School.
