Isabel Bairrao

Isabel Bairrao, CIPP/E, ECPC-B, currently serves as the Data Privacy Knowledge Leader and Interim Head of Legal and Compliance at Emma – The Sleep Company since February 2024. Prior to this role, Isabel spent 17 years as a Principal Associate specializing in Data Protection and Cybersecurity at Garrigues. Earlier career experience includes serving as an IP Consultant at Cabral Cunha Ferreira & Associados, focusing on Industrial and Intellectual Property as well as unfair competition. Isabel holds a degree from Universidade de Coimbra and has completed additional post-graduate studies in Industrial Property Law and Information Society Law at the University of Lisbon, along with complementary training in Negotiation Techniques for Lawyers from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a General Course on Intellectual Property from WIPO Worldwide Academy.
