Ashley L. Bennett

Ashley L. Bennett, EdD, serves as the Director of College Counseling at Emma Willard School since June 2021 and has also held the role of Director of Community Culture at ACCEPT since January 2020. Bennett has experience as faculty for the Student Diversity Leadership Conference through the National Association of Independent Schools for a brief period in late 2021, and previously was the Director of College Counseling at Kipp Sunnyside High School from July 2019 to July 2021. Prior roles include College Counselor at St. Agnes Academy and Director of Admissions and Recruitment at Wiley College. Bennett began a career in higher education as the Assistant Director of Admission at Oklahoma City University from 2008 to 2011. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Ethical Leadership from the University of St. Thomas (TX), a Master's degree in Adult Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Bachelor's degree in African-American/Black Studies from The University of Oklahoma.
