David Hook is a seasoned music and worship arts professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Pastor of Music and Worship Arts at Emmanuel Faith Community Church since August 2012, David has also worked as a professional musician, writer, and arranger since 1985, specializing in music writing, orchestration, vocal coaching, and recording. Previously, David held positions such as Department Head and Associate Professor of Worship Studies at Nebraska Christian College, Classic Worship Leader at Venture Christian Church, and Vocal Music Director at Valley Christian High School. David's background includes roles as Worship Pastor at Evergreen Valley Church, Pastor of Creative Arts and Worship at South Valley Christian Church, and Assistant Worship Pastor at North Phoenix Baptist Church. Academic qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Choral Conducting from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Applied Music from Grand Canyon University.
