Julie Kinuma

Julie Kinuma, MD, serves as the Medical Director of the Clinical Coordinating Center and Medical Monitor at Emmes, where responsibilities include leading medical safety activities for drug and device projects, evaluating safety data, overseeing medical reviews of safety reports, and authoring safety sections of regulatory documents. Prior to Emmes, Julie worked at the National Institutes of Health as a Senior Pharmacovigilance and Medical Safety Reviewer, equipped with a strong understanding of clinical trial regulations and safety environments. Previous roles include Clinical Assistant at Advantia Health and Nursing Supervisor at Physician Associates, where Julie contributed to patient care, medical record accuracy, and compliance with health regulations. Julie holds an MD in Family Medicine from the University of Strasbourg and is ECFMG certified.
