Kimberly Bowers

Kimberly Bowers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kimberly began their career as a Customer Service Representative at Unfors Instruments Inc. In 2012, they joined Select Health of South Carolina as a Triage Intake Specialist, where they coordinated the sharing of medical information to determine insurance benefits. Later that year, they joined the Medical University of South Carolina as a Research Specialist I/II in the Department of Neurosciences, where they executed clinical neuroscience research trials. In 2014, they joined Clinical Research of Charleston, first as a Clinical Research Coordinator and later as a Site Director. Their responsibilities in this role included overseeing research operations and coordinating communications with study personnel. Most recently, Kimberly joined Emmes in 2020. Kimberly initially served as a Senior Data Manager and was subsequently promoted to Lead Data Manager in May 2022.

Kimberly Bowers completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus in Vertebrate Physiology at Penn State University from 2006 to 2010. Kimberly also obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC®) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in 2015 and being a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals since 2016. Kimberly has obtained various other certifications, including ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certification and CPR.
