Michael Massaro

Michael Massaro is an experienced leader in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as President of Emmes since October 2024 and as Managing Partner at GoaLLine Partners, LLC since July 2009, a consultancy specializing in clinical and product development. Previously, Michael held the position of Senior Vice President of Project Delivery and Biometrics at ICON plc from November 2018 to December 2023. Prior to this, Michael served as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from April 2017 until its acquisition by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in February 2018, and as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Vtesse, Inc., where responsibility included leading clinical operations for a rare disease start-up from August 2015 to April 2017. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned from January 1988 to January 1992.
