Danilo Trinchero is an experienced supply chain professional with a strong background in supply planning and operations management. Currently serving as the Supply Planning Manager at Emmi Dessert Italia S.p.A. since July 2025, Danilo previously held various roles at Campari Group from July 2017 to July 2025, including Third-Party Planning Manager and EMEA Import & Distribution Planning Manager. In these positions, Danilo managed teams, oversaw supply planning processes, and led the SAP IBP roll-out for EMEA operations. Prior experience includes a significant role at Ferrero, where Danilo was responsible for worldwide production planning for the Nutella brand and local production planning for other products. Danilo holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering of Industrial Production and Technological Innovation from Politecnico di Torino and multiple degrees related to business management and engineering.

Our story begins in 2011, when Emmi, world leader in Swiss cheese and dairy products (already present in the Italian market with the distribution of cheese branded Tigre) acquires A-27 (Gattico, NO) where traditional desserts are manufactured and shipped all around the world. Our company network strengthens with the acquisition of Rachelli Italia based in Pero (Milan) in 2013 an Italian excellence in manufacturing bio and biodynamic desserts and ice cream, followed by Italian Fresh Food in 2017 (Lasnigo, CO) characterized by a strong and constant development in the International market of special-pack desserts. In 2018 Emmi Dessert Italia is constituted within the Emmi Group representing the commercial identity for the Italian dessert market of all acquired companies.
